Casting for Fort Worth productions.

Specify where the production will film, whether dates are confirmed and what travel or local-hire terms apply. Fort Worth should not be treated as interchangeable with every other Metroplex location when a performer needs to plan an early call or multiple shoot days.

If locations change during planning, tell the casting team before a shortlist is finalized. A small change in a location description can mean a meaningful difference in availability or travel arrangements.

GS Casting casts commercial campaigns, principal and supporting film and television roles, voice-over, print and lifestyle work, and corporate or industrial productions. Provide a separate description for each role and identify the scenes, copy or visual reference that will guide evaluation.

For a technical spokesperson, the read needs to sound natural as well as accurate. For a scripted role, character context matters. For print, the photographer's direction and intended usage help define the options. One generic brief rarely serves all three.

We source performers through established talent agencies. For a Fort Worth shoot, the brief can draw on the wider North Texas agency network while keeping the shoot location and travel conditions explicit.

Pat Skiles spent approximately fifteen years as a SAG-AFTRA talent agent before moving into casting. Her representation background helps keep outreach, availability questions and casting decisions connected. GS Casting is not a talent agency and does not sell auditions or representation.

Self-tapes allow your director and producer to review performances before committing to a session. GS Casting handles audition review and organized selects, then coordinates callbacks around the creative questions that still need an answer.

Share your review deadline and approval process early. If several decision-makers are remote, agree on the audition material and callback priorities so the same role is not being evaluated against different briefs.

The Fort Worth Film Commission offers a production directory for crew and local production services. It is a useful companion to a casting brief, not a claim that GS Casting provides location management, permits or production services.
