Dallas–Fort Worth Commercial Casting

One casting brief for your Metroplex campaign.

Commercial casting across Dallas and Fort Worth involves more than finding a face for a single spot. A campaign may need on-camera performances, still photography, alternate edits and a voice read, all approved by different members of the creative team. GS Casting LLC is a Houston-based independent casting company helping agencies, brands and producers coordinate that process across the Metroplex and surrounding North Texas markets.

Define every deliverable before outreach

List the broadcast, digital, social and still deliverables in the brief. Include the intended media, territory, duration and shoot dates so representatives and the creative team are working from the same understanding.

If one performer must appear in several versions, say which abilities need to be tested. A natural on-camera read, an expressive reaction and a voice-over performance are different casting questions even when they belong to the same campaign.

Dallas and Fort Worth on one schedule

Identify the actual locations and which days belong to each part of the shoot. A multi-location Metroplex campaign needs clear travel expectations and availability windows, especially when photography and motion are scheduled separately.

Keep location planning with the producer, while sharing schedule changes with casting. GS Casting coordinates agency outreach and auditions; we do not present ourselves as a local production office or a location-services company.

Auditions that reflect the commercial

We build the casting review around the campaign's tone and performance needs. Send scripts, character notes and any approved references, then identify which aspects are flexible and which are essential to the brand.

Our existing portfolio includes commercial work for Insperity, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Walmart and Academy Sports + Outdoors. Those examples demonstrate the work available to review; they are not presented as proof that a particular project filmed in Dallas or Fort Worth.

Agency-led submissions and considered callbacks

Talent is sourced through established representation across Texas. Pat Skiles' approximately fifteen years as a SAG-AFTRA talent agent before casting inform communication with agencies and the practical questions behind a booking.

Self-tapes and organized selects give a distributed creative team a common starting point. Use callbacks to explore alternate direction or specific remaining questions, and confirm who makes the final decision before asking talent to return. GS Casting is not a talent agency and does not sell auditions.

Prepare the producer handoff

Send the production type, filming locations, dates, role count and short campaign description through our contact form. Scripts and breakdowns can be uploaded there for private review rather than sent as public links.

For Texas production incentive questions, consult the Texas Film Commission's current guidance, including any residency conditions. The producer should confirm eligibility; no casting brief alone guarantees an incentive. For non-commercial projects, our Dallas and Fort Worth pages cover the broader range of formats.
